Welcome to Barnstaple International Women’s Day, an incredible celebration of women’s arts and culture this March.

Barnstaple Town Council is working with The Rabbit Hole, The Gardeners Co., NDADA, One Barnstaple, Libraries Unlimited, North Devon Council Flourishing Barnstaple to bring together women from across North Devon for two days of female-fronted music, workshops, activities, performers and speakers. As well as an exhibition in The Guildhall celebrating past and present women of North Devon.

What is Happening?

At the Rabbit Hole

The Courtyard Stage

 

On the courtyard stage, we have musical performances from Sasha Brennand, Chloe Marie Aston – The Piano Bike Girl, Amanita Grove, and Gabby Young who are performing on Friday between 12-7pm

On Saturday from 11am-11pm, catch Kayleigh Jay Richardson, The Fremington Singers, Georgia Palmer, Maddie Warren, The Groove Collective, and DJ Lady C are taking the stage.

The Speakers Stage

 

On the Speaker Stage, we have two days of inspiring talks and panels celebrating women’s achievements and experiences.

On Friday from 12:30-5pm, delve into topics such as Women in Horticulture, success journeys, and the power of connections among women. Then, on Saturday from 11am-5:30pm, explore discussions on women’s influence in various fields including corporate, sports, and wellbeing, along with insightful panels on important issues facing women today.

IWD Quiz

 

The Rabbit Hole for the International Women’s Day are hosting an IWD Quiz from 7-9pm, with tables of up to 6 people at £4 per person. Stick around after the quiz for a fantastic performance by DJ Nina Love from 9-11pm
