Barnstaple Town Council Announces Country Music Hoedown in Support of Mayor’s Charities

Barnstaple Town Council is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for the upcoming Country Music Hoedown. The event will take place on Sunday May 4th, 4pm – 9pm at Barnstaple Pannier Market and is open to visitors aged 12 and over.
This fun-filled event offers a wide variety of entertainment for residents and visitors, including live country music, line dancing, a hog roast, mechanical bull ride, photobooth and a tin can shootout, among other attractions. Additionally, the event will feature the Driftwood Den, a neurodiversity-friendly space providing a calming environment for those who prefer a quieter experience.
Tickets are £15 and can be purchased online at Ticketsource.
Mayor of Barnstaple, Councillor Janet Coates said, “This is a great opportunity for our community to come together for an evening of country music, while supporting two fantastic local causes.”
Proceeds from the event will go directly to supporting the Mayor’s chosen charities, Clarity and Special Olympics North Devon, both provide essential services to individuals in the local community.
The event is open for people aged 12 and over, under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
