The audit of the Council's accounts for the year ended 31st March 2017 was concluded on 29th September 2017. 
The annual governance statement, accounting statements and the external auditor certificate and report are available to view online (see below). Copies of the documents are available for purchase at a cost of 70p for the statements, certificate and notice of conclusion of audit (7 pages). Any supporting documents also requested will be charged at an additional 10p per sheet. 
Local government electors and their representatives have rights to make copies of: 
the accounting statements; 
the external auditor's opinion and certificate of completion; 
any public interest report relating to the authority; and 
any recommendation relating to the authority. 
For the year ended 31st March 2017 these documents will be available on reasonable notice on application to:
